Chess Tournament Held at Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University
The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, organized a Chess Tournament on January 15, 2024, at its Hampankatta campus for students of BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management), BBA (Aviation Management), and MBA (Aviation Management). The tournament featured over 18 participants competing across multiple rounds, providing a platform to showcase their strategic skills.The winner of the tournament was Pradeep Kumar from I Year BBA (Aviation Management). The second prize was secured by Mohammad Riyan from II Year BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management), while the third place was taken by Suhaf Abdul Kadheer from III Year BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management).The event was coordinated by Mrs. Bhagyashri, Sports and NSS Coordinator, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University and Mrs. Aishwarya Shetty, Faculty, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University. The tournament was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Pavithra Kumari, Dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University and Ms. Anjana T.V., HOD, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University. The chess tournament exemplified the institute’s commitment to holistic student development by integrating academics with extracurricular activities.
