On April 7, 2023, the Institute of Aviation Studies hosted the highly anticipated Aviators Premier League (APL) Tournament at the Fisheries Ground in Yekuru. This event, aimed at promoting sportsmanship and team spirit among students, brought together aviation enthusiasts in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. The tournament was organized under the dedicated principles of Dean Pavithra Kumari and Head of Department Anjana T.V., while Mrs. Supriya Adiga, the Physical Director, provided crucial guidance and ensured the smooth execution of the event.Seven teams, each comprising 16 students, competed with enthusiasm, rigorously trained under Mrs. Adiga's coaching. The opening ceremony saw inspiring addresses from the faculty, emphasizing sportsmanship and fair play. The tournament featured intense matches, with students displaying impressive skills and strategic teamwork, cheered on by enthusiastic spectators.In the closing ceremony, top teams and exceptional players were awarded trophies and certificates. The event offered a refreshing break from academics, fostering strong bonds and essential life skills among students. The 2023 APL Tournament stands as a testament to the institute’s dedication to fostering excellence, setting a high standard for future events.
