REPORT BASIC LIFE SUPPORT ON 23/09/2024

CONDUCTED BY AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION As a part of the Academic curriculum skill-developing program Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association, training was organized for 4th year B. Sc Nursing students of batch 2020-2024 on 23-09-2024 in Claas room number 003. The program commenced at 10 AM with a formal welcoming ceremony for the BLS team. The Dean introduced the esteemed members of the American Heart Association team: Mr. Akhil Vishwanathan, Mrs Liju Akhil, Mr. Sameer, Mr. Aneesh Isac, and Mr Ajo Joseph. Ms Namitha, a 4th year student, warmly welcomed all attendees. Mr Akhil Vishwanathan highlighted the critical importance of CPR within the nursing profession, setting the tone for the day's training. Finally, there was the MCQ test, the students had to obtain 85% of the marks and a BLS skill-trained certificate was given. The session concluded at 5 PM with a heartfelt thanksgiving ceremony, recognizing the BLS team's efforts and the students' enthusiasm. At last, the ceremony was given to Dean Dr Juby Mary Chacko.The BLS training session was a valuable experience for the students, fostering confidence and competence in emergency response, which is essential in their future careers as healthcare professionals.
