TOPIC INTERPROFESSIONAL FORENSIC NURSING CARE

The Faculty Development Programme on Interprofessional Forensic Nursing Care, was successfully conducted on 20th January 2025 at Srinivas University, Institute of Nursing Sciences .The Faculty Development Program commenced promptly at 10:00 AM, with Professor Jeevitha serving as the Master of Ceremonies. She extended a warm welcome to the Dean, the distinguished resource person, Dr. Vrinda Bhat Kamath, as well as the faculty and students in attendance. Professor Jeevitha also provided a succinct and insightful introduction of the resource person, highlighting her expertise.Dr. Vrinda Bhat Kamath led an engaging session on Interprofessional Forensic Nursing Care, covering a range of topics. She began with an introduction to forensic nursing, delving into its history and development in the Indian context. The session further explored the scope, educational pathways, and professional roles within the field. Dr. Kamath also shed light on the ethical considerations, autonomy, and responsibilities inherent in forensic nursing, providing valuable insights to the attendees.The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Assistant Professor Jeevitha, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors. To commemorate the occasion, Dean Juby Mary Chacko presented a memento to Dr. Vrinda Bhat Kamath as a token of appreciation. The event concluded successfully, leaving attendees enriched with new perspectives and knowledge in the field of forensic nursing.
