Srinivas University, Institute of Physiotherapy hosted its distinguished alumnus, Mr. Denish Tamakuwala, registered Physiotherapist from Ontario, Canada and Director of Innova Physio & Sports Rehab, Complete Physio & Sports Rehab and Stouffville Physiotherapy clinic for an invited talk on “Future scope of Physiotherapy and insights on Canada Physiotherapy licensing exam” on 9th January 2025 at city campus, Pandeshwar Mangaluru. The Alumni Talk event was organized to provide current students with insights into the future scope of Physiotherapy and process of license exam in Canada. The event was aimed at bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the practical application of skills in the professional world.Mr. Denish shared his journey post his graduation, discussing challenges faced, key moments of growth, and the importance of continuous learning. He shared his career evolution, from entry-level positions to his current consultancy role and the future scope in Physiotherapy. He also touched on the process of how to apply and excel in the Canada Physiotherapy licensing exams, encouraging students to seek guidance from professionals in their field.The audience, primarily students from final year undergraduate and post graduate programmes along with interns, was highly engaged throughout the session.
