Under the Health and Wellness initiative, an awareness session on Menstrual Health and Uterine cancer prevention was conducted by Institute of Physiotherapy, Srinivas University in collaboration with Care N Safe, an NGO-turned-enterprise, on January 21, 2025 at city campus, Pandeshwar. The target audience was 1st year Physiotherapy undergraduate female students. Smt. Amitha Nayak led the discussion, offering an informative and engaging talk on menstrual health. She addressed prevalent facts and debunked myths surrounding the use of sanitary pads, emphasizing their proper usage and highlighting potential health risks associated with improper practices.Additionally, she delved into the importance of maintaining menstrual hygiene and fostering awareness about uterine health and care. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, allowing students to clarify doubts and engage further with the topic.
